Allpdesky Decorative Floating Basking Platform Review

I thought it would be a cute design for a floating amphibious platform. Works very well for my newts. Seems small for turtles. But that's JustMe. (I received this product in exchange for an honest review and I'm offering that here.)

I was very happy to get this for my little red ear sliders. Upon arrival, the box itself was already open. There were no instructions and most items were stained. At that moment I didn't even feel the need to try to put it together. I'm sending this back. I don't know what the stains are and I certainly don't want anything that could harm the little turtles.

Neither legs nor supports came. 3 pieces: the top and ramp that are pictured and another base piece that the supports had to attach I think because the pieces didn't fit together. We only use the platform and the ramp. He's on a ledge in the corner of our aquarium. It's not perfect due to missing parts, but it gives our turtle a place to hide and sunbathe. It's very small. My turtle is the size of my hand and too big and heavy for it. He drowns in the water. I thought it would be more. But when I received it, it said "small" on the box. The product description does NOT say so. The suction cups don't hold very well either, it always moves with the water. UPDATE: We've had it for a week now and the turtles LOVE it. They are often on it, sunbathing. You take off and mount, now slightly jumping over the edge of the ramp. They no longer try to get through the glass, but they are happy to get under the dock and tuck their head between the dock and the glass where they are protected and out of sight.
