🥄 AllSpice Stainless Steel Double-Sided Measuring Spoon - 1/2 tsp & 1/4 tsp Review

A tablespoon doesn't fit about half my store bought condiments but oh well. The metal bends (I could fold it in half fairly easily, for example) so be careful. But it measures what I want and I didn't want to buy 1/8 scoop or 1/4 scoop and 1/2 scoop. I just needed something simple and this spoon comes in two sizes which I actually use.

I usually only need 1 TB and 1 TL so every time I buy a set I have all the 1/2 Tbsp and 1/4 TL etc that I really don't need. I love that this has a teaspoon on one end and TBS on the other. They are a good weight and feel good in hand. Not fragile so now I'm worried about them bending or deforming when I put them in a box.

Let's be honest. How often do you actually use a quarter teaspoon, eighth teaspoon, or 3/4 teaspoon? If like me you're tired of buying whole scoops just because you need more tablespoons and teaspoons, just buy a bunch of them. Then you don't have to worry about unnecessary spoons that you don't use at all.

I bought it for car camping. I needed just that, a teaspoon and tablespoon combo. I can multiply as needed and roughly calculate that a half or quarter teaspoon is based on a full teaspoon, so I didn't want a whole set. It filled that need and exceeded my expectations. It's super-minimalist, no-frills, and stamped from a single piece of steel with no joints or welds, making it easy to clean and almost impossible to break in normal use. Perfect for what I need.

I've been looking for something similar to replace a very old plastic for a long time. Didn't you know Revane would offer one! I love it so much I've ordered another one and another one for my daughter! Big recommendation from me! I have a box full of measuring spoons, but most of the time I use a tablespoon and a teaspoon. Customer service is great. I received a curved tablespoon/teaspoon and they sent me another one. However, this one had noticeable dark scratches on the steel which are definitely scratches because they don't come off and I can feel them when I run my finger over them. The product has a great design and the steel looks high quality, but there are definitely problems with the production. I hope they fix this because they have exemplary customer service.

Just received the spoon and washed it before use. However, the edge of the tablespoon was not well made, so I cut my finger. The spoon looks handy and I loved it, but I don't think I would use it if I risked cutting another finger. so i'm sending it back. - Review added (February 22nd) Received a new spoon to replace which was surprisingly quick. In general the scoop is good. I like the length (good for getting into tall bottles) but the sizes are 1/2 hr. The difference between the two sizes is mainly in the depth (also difficult to tell). I had to mark one end with a marker to make sure I always use the correct end for powdered medication. Otherwise you need to turn it at right angle to the light to see the measurement or the difference in the depth of the spoon.

I lose tablespoons and teaspoons a lot so I upgraded my spoons to get a bunch of these with 1tbsp and 1tsp on a spoon. When I originally searched I wanted extra tablespoons, but I stumbled across these and thought about it. "Brilliant". They're narrow enough to fit in spice jars (a big plus). They're cute (never mind, but hey, they're there). I plan on using these spoons in cooking for the next few months. and when I don't have to use my hodgepodge of old measuring spoons.
