Allstar Performance ALL10530 Air Tank: 2.75 Gallon Capacity ─ Efficient and Reliable Review

Worst welds I have ever seen on a consumer product. The stand has never been wire wheeled or deburred, so I cut my finger on the stand the first time I tried to fill it.

The tank is very good as is the PSI sensor. Anything after the sensor is just useless junk (just my opinion). I've invested another $40 in components and it's a very good device now.

I filled the tank, but the second time I open the valve, the air comes out of the tire assembly. Is this the expected behavior or is it a bad setup? For example, shouldn't it leak and actually hold pressure until it's pumped up a tire etc.?

You can buy a more expensive air tank, but you can't buy the best. Filled to 100psi on the first day and the gauge didn't budge for 3 months. Did I mention it's feather light? Do you need air? It's quick and easy. Did I mention it's easy... yes I did.

I was a little skeptical about the size of the tank and the weld that could withstand all the pressure but it held up well. Great buy for a lightweight air tank. The triangular leg was convenient for mounting on a trolley; The tank is light when it is lying flat with the leg bolted on.

With all the deep scratches on this product I can only imagine it was returned by someone else and then shipped to me, there were no instructions or literature with this product. NEW products just don't come out of the box scratched unless someone else uses them. The Allstar Performance comes in a box with a picture of the contents, specifically the air tank. It was repackaged and shipped in an unmarked box. When I buy NEW, I expect that from the start.
