These wires make great 16AWG wires that connect to a SAE DIY Projects connector. I have used these cables and a similar brand (Hopkins 47965 2-Pole Flat Extension), both have almost the same construction except for one thing. The side of the SAE connector on this one has 3 pins to grab your fingers and the other only 2. This product seems to be better for projects that you want to switch off frequently as it's just more convenient. The other brand is more something you want to leave for a long…

Very difficult to separate

As mentioned in other reviews, putting the two ends together forms a bond that is almost impossible to break. I ordered this along with a cheaper version (Hopkins 47965 2-Pole Flat Extension - 1/3 the price) and figured if the cheaper one didn't work, this one would. Instead, it was one that was too tight to use. I've tried connecting and disconnecting 4 times. Difficult to connect, but worse, it took about 3 minutes to disassemble (and I have strong hands). Six dollars is a lot for a simple…

Great for automotive electrical projects

My order arrived within a week, it's great! This connector makes it very easy to install/remove devices or devices in or on a vehicle. literally plug and play. Use it as is or make like mine, cut it down the middle and use each segment as a connection between power/ground and whatever you're powering. I bought a "Hydra" connector for my bike that goes to the battery and these clipped connectors connect to LED lighting and other low to medium current accessories, adding built in ATC fuse holders

Good quality/good price

I have a battery charger for my car BatteryMINDer model 12117: 12 volt 1.33 amp (12V 1.33A) charger/maintenance/desulfator that I use almost all year round to keep my car battery in top condition. However, I bought it primarily for the winter here in North Dakota. Charging helps keep the battery warm and full. It's very hard on the car and the starter when there isn't enough power to crank the car during the cold winter months. Not to mention that it's cold outside and you have to jump in a…

Works well BUT for spares

I don't think they really claim to be "fast links" but that's exactly what I expected when I bought them. Apart from the next problem they are fine. Force to fully insert the plugs into each other. And if you manage to get them even LARGE together, then GOOD LUCK pulling them apart again without two pliers and a lot of wiggling and twisting and hard pulling. I solved the problem with a utility knife. I trimmed about half of the vinyl from the inside edge of each end cap. Now that those faces…

The fork ends are too tight!

AVOID! How can you make something so simple so bad? The connector is listed with 16 AWG wire, ideally 18 AWG. But much worse is how real connectors fit together. I understand you want something that fits together well and stays in place, but this is ridiculous. Immediately after unpacking, you will not be able to insert the end caps correctly without using a lot of force. Good luck trying to separate them. I think after about 100 plugging and unplugging cycles they might loosen up in terms of…
