6mm wrench broke on first use. The disadvantage of the design is that there is a locking ring on the T-handle of the wrench, which has a smaller diameter than the rest of the shank and is the breaking point. In theory they seem like good wrenches but they don't seem very high quality and they seem broken so I've decided to return and refund them. I would recommend paying a premium for a higher quality.

They really are excellent. I am so fed up with these L shaped allen wrenches, they are clearly better and excellent quality. As others have noted it would be nice if the blue sleeves were pinned but that doesn't stop me from giving 5 stars because they are still amazing. Edit: Today I found out why the sleeves are not locked: you can hold on to the sleeve while turning the key, very helpful actually!

I really appreciate my set. They are used almost exclusively for bicycles. This is the ideal type of machine that they will work on. Definitely not for high torque / breaking off rusty material. There are other tools for that. Most mechanics will be able to pinpoint that limit right away and not slow it down. Keep them away from your student! The waves bend, the rotation function sometimes makes sense. Really great for installing lots of Allens IEs, setting up new bikes or whatever.

After buying a pair of these stands (metric and torx) I found that allen wrenches come in sizes that jump a full mm each. Many screws are half mm in size. So often this set isn't the small size I need while the larger keys are up to 11 inches long. Good as a defensive weapon, but overkill for propellers. I'd rather buy a set of small keys. or a set of big wrenches, I just don't need the big ones but I like to use them when I can.

They are well designed and seem to be quite durable. I needed a decent reach hex to work on my mountain bike, compared to other options they were a lot cheaper and had some nice extras. The fast-spinning hub is handy, and the fact that the top bit slides in came in handy for getting torque in tight spaces. I love these T-handle wrenches. a lot of. T-handle wrenches speed up your work because you can "twist" them to take up any play before tightening the bolt. L-shaped hex wrenches are suitable, but not as quick to use (because they can't be twisted). Once you have the screw ready, all you have to do is realign the tool in your hand and tighten the screw securely. Very easy!
