Received as a gift, I really liked it. Has held my phone well and lasted about 2 years until the hinge broke. I ordered a new one and it kept falling out of the vent. I returned it. I miss him and have not found a replacement.

Won't fall out of the vent when going over bumps in the road and won't cut if there's no phone in it. Matches my driver's field of view well when using the phone's GPS function. Very happy with the purchase.

Screw-in position had no thread. I went insane sitting in my car wondering why I couldn't figure out how to screw the back to the main body. My friend had to thread it through with some kind of tool to make it work. Very frustrating. Now that it's assembled it works great! I like having my phone on the dashboard and not in the way.

Very pretty and does exactly what it's supposed to do. Withstands bumps on the road and keeps your phone securely in place. I have a Galaxy Note 8 with a case. It also fits in a thicker case. I have it in an upright position. I don't think it will work that well in a horizontal position on a bumpy road. In a horizontal position, he would probably have withstood a level road.
