Excellent safety boots

These are my first motorcycle boots and I feel confident in them. I don't like hardcore off-road riding, but I ride gravel and dirt tracks and they make me feel safer when cruising down the street. They're a little clunky and a bit unfamiliar to shift, but you'll get used to them in about 30 minutes of driving.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • The list will go on.

Comfortable and supportive

Bought these as extra protection over regular trail running shoes that keep me going. Recently used on a 4 day 1100 mile off road trip. Very comfortable and supportive and easy to step into. A bit noisy when walking, only the plastic ankle brace squeaks slightly. Probably the best Astars product I've bought.

Best Low Cut Boots

I bought these boots for adventure riding. I do about 50/50 in Colorado. These are excellent low boots for riding. I didn't want tall boots and they are perfect. I wear size 11 shoes and they are a bit too big for me. I wear thicker socks to compensate. Like all motorcycle boots they are quite stiff to begin with but I've been gardening all day, it was uncomfortable at first but it loosened them up a bit so it's not too bad on the rides. Definitely worth the money, there are no quality issues.

Preserve protection and mobility.

I initially tried Corozals. They got such great reviews but they just weren't for me. 1) I had a feeling that switching would be a problem. It's like I've traded the security of tall riding boots for less secure footwork. 2) I have small calves and couldn't tighten the Corozals up tight enough. 3) I felt like I had two casts when I tried Walk. The Belize has the same protection, just 2-3 inches shorter. When riding cross country I wear knee/shin pads which will correct any loss of shin guard I…

Order one size larger!

I received them today but unfortunately I have to say that I will be returning them tomorrow. BUT I will order one size bigger. The boots are really good! (I would give them 5 stars if the fit is right. I wear a 10 and although they fit my foot they are VERY tight. I almost didn't close them and had to ask my wife to put one on. I wanted something lower on the foot than a tall mx boot.they have good padding and the buckles are decent.i like the soles on the boots it looks like they cling to…

Extremely comfortable

Received in black a few weeks ago and instantly impressed! Look, comfort and fit are great. I ordered a size 9 and was a little worried they might be too small as I usually wear a 9-9.5 and sometimes a 10. The size 9 fits perfectly. I'm pleasantly surprised that my jeans and jodhpurs go with it too. The boots are quite stiff as expected but I've only worn them 4 times. They certainly give a sense of protection and I'm sure they will loosen over time. The only problem I have is getting my finger

Overall great boots but read the comments.

I bought Alpinestars Drystar low cut boots. Please note that everyone's foot size is different, in one way or another. This rating is based on my physique and experience. (I'm 5'8", 184 lbs and have a 9 1/2" narrow foot.) Overall, I'm very pleased with these boots. My #1 priority is comfort and my #2 priority is safety. And I'll sacrifice some overall comfort for more security. My last pair of boots for a couple of years were the Timberland Pros Logger boots (not even motorcycle boots but they…
