The first pair I received were very picky and appeared to be shorted internally. The new pair is very good so far. The sound is rather medium to high, so not super bass-heavy.

Not worth the money because of the plastic. Seriously, the only people buying this desperately need something cheap. For the same price there are better ones that you will probably get to sooner.

They were fine for what I needed, just a video headset, but they were difficult to sync and eventually just stopped working without warning. I expected them to last a little over a year with moderate use. However, I went to the website and looked at the manual. I pushed a few buttons and then decided to charge the headphones from the computer, although now I'm mostly using the auxiliary cable. They worked straight away. I turned off the charger and they still work. Strange.

First I bought them on Prime Day last October thinking I was going to get a great discount when in reality they are always the same price! Today they are even cheaper! The brand is quite famous. I didn't know reliability as I've never owned an Altec Lansing. My first had a problem with no sound on one side. Update #2 (10/20/20): After charging and a few hours of use, the headphones would get stuck again; If you unplug them, the green LED is still on, no power cycles, no connect/disconnect.
