Great part! Perfect Fit - Be sure to purchase coolant tube o-rings separately!

This water pump fits perfectly and works as it should. The only downside is that there were no o-rings for the coolant tubes in the kit. The rings were cheap at the VW dealer, but still had to drive separately. The o-rings in my metric and standard ranges did not match.

Excellent Engine Cooling & Air Conditioning Water Pump

***UPDATE*** I would recommend purchasing your own o-rings and gaskets. The gasket (and 1 o-ring) that came with this kit either broke in half or fell apart after only a few months of use. We were a little afraid to start a water pump project for our 2012 VW CC. We loved the original part and this aluminum pump. We were so happy with how easy it was to install. Everything has found its place as it should. The car is in excellent condition, we are very happy with the purchase. Good product!

Temperature sensor jumps out under load

2013 VW 2.0 Beetle Turbo. So OEM plastic decided to try this one. The OEM has a strap that secures the temp sensor with a screw. This new one uses a regular VW style plastic clip. The clip didn't hold up under load. I removed the water pump and tried a different temp sensor. He popped out with the touch of a finger. So we bit the bullet and bought an OEM VW water pump, this is UPDATED with a clip that holds the temp sensor. Pooh. The clip is stronger, slightly different design, but so far so…
