Heatsink Computer Components

This finned heatsink offers a large cooling surface but no holes. The ribs make it difficult to make good holes to mount the device on and there's no bracket so it only gets four stars.

Pros
  • Several competitors
Cons
  • unreliable

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Yes, it's a heatsink

The extrusion is smooth and has a high aspect ratio. The base plate is flat enough and the base material is dense enough to screw a screw hole into it.

Pros
  • Constant test results
Cons
  • Approximately

Exactly what I wanted

Used with some Artic hot melt glue on an ARM based Android head unit. It was exactly the size and quality I was hoping for. No problem. It is very beneficial to take 4 pieces in one pack.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Useless features

A good heatsink is the best in computer components

I used them to cool a peltier chip. The contact surface is nice and smooth, which allowed me to use a minimal amount of thermal paste. I added a fan to the fins to help airflow. Fits my project perfectly.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Not as good as it says

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good workmanship, normal heat dissipation

Good workmanship. The information was correct and the edges are clean. Not quite enough to cool Peltier elements even with a fan to dissipate heat and thermal paste, but will probably do for other light applications.

Pros
  • Not cheap, but decent
Cons
  • Nothing

Good cooler for fans and cooling

I used peltier microchips for cooling. The contact surface is nice and smooth, which allowed me to use a minimal amount of thermal paste. I added a fan to the fins to help airflow. Fits my project perfectly.

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Good workmanship, reasonable heat dissipation

Good workmanship. The information was correct and the edges are clean. Not enough to cool Peltier elements even with a fan to dissipate heat and thermal paste, but will probably do for other light applications.

Pros
  • As far as satisfied
Cons
  • Write later

Heat kills everything

Even smartphones. Mine uses a 25w charger. My phone gets a little warm when I leave it charging on its own when it reaches 25W. I put two of these on the screen and it stays much cooler while charging. This prolongs the life of my phone, including the battery.

Pros
  • Easy-to-read control panel
Cons
  • New competitors have emerged
