This product works as described. I had an issue with the on/off switch sticking after about 3 years of use. I contacted Aluratek and they sent me a replacement. After 2 years replacement, the pin attached to the charger came loose from the cable. I called support and they sent me a new cable. So, despite some issues, the company decided to fix them.

I've been using this little device on Android tablets and phones and IOS tablets and phones from time to time for almost five years. Currently using it as a receiver for everything from Echo Dot to Bose Wave Radio for the past 6 months - essentially turning the radio into a voice controlled radio and music player. Sometimes it can be a bit difficult to recognize them as a couple, but it always happens in the end. Five years speak for reliability!

I ordered this to use with our new gym sound system. It does exactly what I want. When I teach, I carry my phone with me. I use the Tabata app, music etc. The mobility it gives me is just what I needed. The product says the Bluetooth range is about 33 feet (I knew that when I ordered). However, I have found that it works up to a height of about 50 feet. It works exactly as advertised and at a great price.

I have a new iPhone that cannot be used with the car stereo direct cable (it fits my iPhone 4s). However, I do have an audio port on the front of the radio that this receiver plugs directly into. After figuring out how to get my iPhone to connect to the I-Stream receiver (turn on the phone's bluetooth at about the same time you turn on the receiver), the receiver worked fine. This is my second purchase of an Aluratek Bluetooth receiver. I mainly use it for audio tutorials that I present from my iPhone. My first lasted 2 years and 8 months. Then it continued to work but the battery didn't hold enough charge (less than 2 hours). That's not bad considering it's all about iPhone battery life in my experience.
