I ordered 4 pieces. They work great and are very easy to install. They will definitely save the drywall from damage. The door slides open easily. The back stops the door.

I very seldom write reviews but they were easy to replace with our old scrap parts, they match the oil bronze theme of the rest of our house and finally they are solid by design and indeed are from a screw held and twisted into the mechanism (great if you have animals that like to play with them so they don't get knocked over).

I bought these to freshen up my current spring look. My baseboards had just been painted and the painters had painted over the old baseboards that were bolted to the wood. I took them off, leaving an unfilled circle. They cover this circle so you don't have to touch up the paint! I was happy about that. They are also very strong and thick. Modern look. Overall a great purchase!
