Works great - sound

fast delivery. I am a potter with 40 years of experience. This clay is excellent for casting and is suitable for building by hand. Takes icing well. Burns firmly on the cone 6.

Pros
  • Good workmanship
Cons
  • There are new competitors

Love this tone, good for clay and dough

Love this tone! Works great both on the steering wheel and in manual setup. I had no problems with frosting. This is a medium fire cone 6. I will order more!

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

Super wet for clays & doughs

I really like working with this clay. This time the clay was very wet upon arrival. I had to leave it on the wedding table for a while. It was then dry enough to hold any shape. Maybe it was just boiled and poured straight into the bag. Clay also works well on the wheel and reels.

Pros
  • also understandable for old people
Cons
  • Useless functions

Nice warm brown for functional mugs

For those interested in ceramics it is amazing how it works at 5/6 taper. No leaking pots on cone 5+. I usually stay away from 5-10 targets, but this one works amazingly well. Some coarse smooth bits with plastic for a smoother pre-bisk finish.

Pros
  • Large firing range of 04-7 taper with best results at 5 taper
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Sticky clay body for my purposes

I am a sculptor and I use it for figurative sculpture on anchor to finally get shapes. I can also say that this should work well for building hollow clay directly to fire raku. Also useful for separating combs for my shapes. All in all a good choice for my needs.

Pros
  • Non-toxic and talc free
Cons
  • No power

This is an excellent keeping clay for large sculptures.

. This is an excellent durable clay for large sculptures. I work primarily with porcelain, but if I need a solid frame to work with I can make a body out of it and then match it to my porcelain work with a porcelain overlay on the surface of the leather utensil. Won't settle or crack on the cone 6. Feels very hard but feel free to add as much water, polish etc as you need to get the results you want. I always have it somewhere in the studio for a big project.

Pros
  • . An ideal all-purpose classroom tone.
Cons
  • . Dear Sir or Madam,
