Good meat thermometer

Great thermometer for the price. I cook steaks regularly and was looking for a thermometer to improve my cooking skills. The device feels solid and the readings appear to be accurate. I think this is a great thermometer for a beginner cook like me. I would recommend this thermometer to my friends.

Excellent thermometer for measuring substrate and soil temperatures.

Easy to use and accurate. I wanted a quick electronic thermometer to check soil temperatures a few inches below the surface and this one fits the bill. Fast deployment, backlight and easy-to-read screen made it ideal for this purpose, both in daylight and in low light.

A must for anyone who loves to cook!

I just LOVE this thermometer! I used it to check the temperature of a pot roast and it was so quick. Sometimes the oven stays open too long and cools down when I use an old school meat thermometer because I can barely cook those small numbers. So easy to use. Just pop it in and the temperature will appear on the screen instantly. I'm buying another one for my mom for the holidays.

Really accurate probe

I just bought this meat probe and tested it with my other probes and it is really accurate. The probe has a long needle, useful when cooking roasts or ribs. I like this option very much. It has an option for Celsius or Fahrenheit so you can choose what best suits your preferences. It also comes with an additional removable battery, which I like. Overall I am satisfied with this purchase.

Happy with this purchase!

This is the first meat thermometer I have owned. I tested it in ice water and boiling water to make sure the reading is accurate and matches my altitude. It seems solidly built and easy to use. Other features I like: the display turns off when the probe is closed to save battery, an internal magnet allows it to be stored on the side of my fridge (I placed another thin magnet underneath to keep it from sliding off ). :) ) and the second battery included.

Great thermometer

I love this thermometer! When I picked it up and turned it over, it read room temperature, which matched my room thermometer exactly. The device looks solid and the readings are accurate. I've used it to check the temperature of steaks and it reads the temperature shown on the large dial so quickly and easily. You can switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius. Very handy that it's magnetic so I can attach it to the fridge when not in use. It has a backlight and a spare battery. Excellent purchase…

Instant reading, easy to use, great results!

I've been interrogating with time and visual observation for decades. Most of the time, my grilled meat was done right. However, sometimes they were overcooked or undercooked.
