Misleading Performance: Not Recommended

I recently purchased a router bit in the industrial and scientific category under cutting tools which has left me less than satisfied. My analysis of this product showed that it's marketing description didn't match up with actual performance. While it was admittedly easy to install, the bit didn't cut as cleanly as advertised. The only pro I can note is the ease of installation. However, the cons far outweigh that. This has left me feeling hesitant to purchase from this brand again.

Pros
  • Sharp and precise cuts
Cons
  • Difficult to handle for beginners

My wife loves the result

So far I have made 7 cupboard doors 100cm x 60cm with this kit of accessories. woman loves the result. I'll keep using the remaining doors and see what happens.

Pros
  • Power tool parts and accessories
Cons
  • Long delivery time

As always, quality cutters from Amana!

Do not buy these bits! I have several other Amana cutters and they are high quality. I bought these bits and made 2 fake poplar doors. Stiles was fine, but on the 3rd rail I smelled burnt. I figured they might just need sharpening so I pulled out my diamond thin and extra thin boards and the bits were super sharp but still burning stuff. My router is set to the lowest setting of 10k and I have no idea other than that it must be related to the handling angles? I hate leaving anything negative…

Pros
  • Power and hand tools
Cons
  • Requires socket
