Ideal for cutting acrylic without major clogs. For some reason I had better luck with this version of the 1/8" shank than the 1/4" shank and 1/8" flute, which broke very easily. The O'Flute offers an excellent Finish quality and cuts through material...easily.

I wrote to Amana Tool for recommended speeds for cutting plastic and they sent me a link to a table of recommended spindle speeds, feeds and depths. I've used it to make some HDPE parts and it worked great. The pieces had to be cleaned up after cutting, but it was easy to do. I cut the parts in multiple passes to a depth of .0300" (my router isn't heavy duty) and at about 15,000 RPM. After the cuts there was no burr or marks on the bit.

We had to modify our product by cutting (cutting) a piece of plastic from each of our products in the same place. It was impossible to do it by hand as it was a very delicate area and a wrong cut could ruin the piece. We bought a zentoolworks 12x12 CNC machine to use with this cutter. This cutter is great and gives a nice clean cut and does it with ease. I was amazed at how quickly it cut through plastic without burning or melting it. Spiralizer at the highest level.
