Bought to drain motor oil from my double sided boat. I followed the instructions and recommendations I read in other posts. Engine warmed up and started pumping. Draining the oil took forever. Probably 25-30 minutes per engine. I will never use or buy a Jabsco oil extractor again. Hose went to the dipstick and pumped out all the oil.

I used it to extract oil from my boat engine (onboard Mercruiser). The job at this location costs $120. I warmed up the engine and it drained all the oil in about 10 minutes. I had a vacuum system that took about 45 minutes to extract the oil. It sucked so hard that the hose was constricting in some places (I used a different hose to fit the engine suction adapter). Even throwing it away after the first use saves me money. I am very happy!

I used this to completely change the fluid in my truck's automatic transmission. Many YouTube videos show me how to do it. This device did everything I needed and did it well. I've got about 30 minutes of running time so far and he hasn't missed a beat. I bought an extra 3/8" hose to complete the setup. This pump saved me a lot of time on a job I really dislike doing. If you have the skills to change motor oil in Mercedes engines, it's worth it. Imagine if you took the time to drive to the merchant and wait for the money to be withdrawn, it would help you get the money back into your bank account. I used 8 liters on my M113 engine and it took about 10-15 minutes to pump out the oil. The only consistency I would want in a product is vacuum pressure. I needed to clean excess oil from my daughter's engine. After installing the hoses according to the instructions (which are very simple), no oil was pumped. I checked the hose which should have been an outlet and there was suction instead of positive pressure. This was quickly remedied by changing the hoses and voila, the oil pumped out fine. I must have spent 20 minutes looking for an oil drain plug on the underside of my 4.3 liter Mercruiser engine before it occurred to me that maybe there wasn't one.
