Great design so you don't lose your toe!

We needed something for our overalls so we could tie the table top. These are hefty little boots and we love that they fold up when not in use. No broken fingers here!

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Minor problems

Sturdy construction for rowing and sailing

I put a pair of these on my boat because the solid spikes caught everything (including my laces - if I had a video of this I'd be famous). They fold to the side and still shine after months of exposure to salt water.

Pros
  • Tested for one year
Cons
  • Not sure

Already rusting!: Sport

DO NOT buy these spikes. They are made from the cheapest SS you can buy. I've had them on my boat for a month now and they're already starting to rust! In addition, they must be constantly lubricated, otherwise they are difficult to open. My advice is to find something better.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Update Availability

Works but cheap

The little plastic stopper that holds them doesn't hold them. They fall in half. Lost the plastic in one and it won't fit back. Not sure where he went! They are not the smoothest, grainiest and with sharp edges. They keep my boat so they work but better options.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Expensive

Good but be careful, good for boating and sailing

They work well but you have to remove them from the surface you put them on or they will bite the fiberglass if you open them significantly and close. At first I thought it was something to keep the spikes from dangling up and down, but I had to remove one and noticed a dimple in the fiberglass below the hinge point.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Doubtful

Great price but hardware required

They DO NOT come with screws or gaskets. Are they unwrapped dirty and tight and look and feel like dirty solid fat? In general, they appear thick and durable. They all stay upright and close securely. After a trip to the hardware store and a good cleaning, they should look great on the boat.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Clarity

rubbing necessary. Best in Sport

They look good and are great value for money, but they still need some finishing touches. The bottom of the spike closest to the boat has not been cleaned. It had sharp edges which I think could have severed the rope that kept the boat tied down for a while. And the legs on the turning part were too long. The thickness of the cleat didn't provide enough clearance when you flipped the cleat so your feet could touch the top of the boat. Get out the Dremel.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Safety
