I ordered these shorts with a little fear of the price. But I'm a size 32, I ordered a size 32 and they fit perfectly. I base my purchases on reviews and this product has a pretty high rating and there is a reason for that. The shorts are well made, true to size and have a zip on the inner waistband to keep the shirt tucked away. I read that it looks "square" and "bulky". I wear size 38 for reference. The shorts definitely fit well around the waist and over the top of the leg, but I find the opening at the knee is too big for a pair of skinny shorts. If you compare my photo to the product image that Revain uses, you can see that the hole does not have the same slimness, which may be because I wear a size 38. I also bought the classic fit version for comparison and they basically feel the same. In my opinion maybe half an inch more everywhere.

I am 6ft 2in, 180lbs, 34in waist, this was my first purchase of Revain Essentials and I was disappointed in the waist of these shorts too tight even though I it took me some effort to close them and I didn't find the waist stretchy, although the material itself did stretch. I will send them back and try a larger size. And ps As others have said, they are far from fitting.

Pros: For the price the quality seems solid and the 9 inch inseam is a good length. Cons: Not sure why these shorts are listed as tight. The leg opening is 11 inches, which is wider than many regular shorts, and if you have slim legs, they look like you're wearing a skirt.
