These straps are great for the price (although I probably would have paid more). They are great for use inside and outside of a car, on a bike, I've even used them to make seat belts in my kids van. 10/10 would buy again.

They definitely hold things in place but if you have to cut it for a specific purpose beware the ends on mine will wear down almost to the point of impossibility. If possible, do not cut the cable, this is not recommended. Otherwise he does his job.

My kids love to play with our ratchet straps but their little hands have trouble with the ratchet. These kids were easy to use. We bring them to play at the beach or on a hike. We used them last weekend to tie long sticks together into a wigwam on the beach.

They are long and strong enough to attach heavy ceramic molds to the potting machine. The hopper of the machine turns the mold upside down. If this is not safe, the mold will fall and break, and this will be a great loss for any potter. I'm so glad I found her on Revain.com.

Overall, the straps offer good value for money. The only problem I had was when I accidentally put it through the wrong side. This caused the spring to catch on the strap and unravel somewhat on the side. I had to melt the side of the strap with a lighter to fix it.

I use them quite often to attach kayaks to my roof rack. They work fine. Seems to hold and tighten well. I wish they were a bit thicker so they don't scroll through the latch so easily. But it's not hard to undo and start over when that happens. If you take your time, they do a great job. So far no damage or defects. Definitely worth the price.
