Great PSU but the power cord is backwards

Good PSU but it would be nice if the power cord came out of the bottom of the PSU rather than the top. It would also be nice if the screws holding the band together were black instead of silver. Correct those two small details and I would rate it 5 stars.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Should have been phased out of the high performance range

I bought this extension for my workshop, it looked promising and Revain Basics has served me well in the past. I didn't even take the extension cord out of the box before realizing it wasn't a holder. The mounting bracket end caps are made of thin PLASTIC. I'm not sure who would still consider this a high performance product when the single attachment flexes slightly in my hand. it's coming back

  • Few competitors

  • Nothing

Excellent power supply for accessories and consumables

I was looking for a solution to all the plugs that are stuck behind my TV and I had three outlets that were connected together. You know how some power blocks block others because they are so big. Echo point in this case. So I just attached the power strip to the back of the TV stand and plugged everything into it, then just plugged one end into the wall. I like it, looks great. I just wish it was surge protected. To do this, I simply put the plug in the socket

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Moderately strong Best in power strips and surge protectors

This is a pretty solid power strip and for the price I'm very happy with it. I've seen many reviews complaining about the plastic mounts. These are actually end caps that cover the metal brackets to protect them during transit. You must remove them. It is easy and safe to assemble. The weakest link in an extension cord is actually the outlet itself. If I have a plug that fits snugly into the outlet, when I pull it out it feels like the whole outlet is breaking out of the metal casing of theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Best in niche

  • Lots of stuff

piss off! for extension cords and overvoltage protection

The item itself is well made. However, the item I received appeared to be a used/returned item and the delivery date was pushed back twice. The box was broken showing it had been wet before with lots of old dirty tape left over (but re-taped with new tape). The product was dirty, with screws and no protective caps. I figured it shouldn't matter much since it's part of the gear. Unfortunately, after mounting it on the wall, I found that at least one of the sockets was not working (noโ€ฆ

Add my name to the people on the string above.

New desk and now working full time from home, my OCD was fed up with the clutter of cables at my desk. From previous experiences in IT, I knew that large plugs for different devices would be a problem when using other, smaller splitters. And I also kick myself for losing or throwing away the long strips my energy company gave away on a home appraisal. Anyway, I attached them to the back of the table using the screw holes on the end caps. It didn't seem like the most reliable way, but I wouldn't

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Something else

The plastic clips don't hold.

The end brackets that attach this strip are cheap plastic. While the rest of the band is Metal and probably strong enough, the brackets are a deal breaker. My end screws were already punched through the plastic because they were overtightened at the factory. This means that one corner of the mount is already hanging down. Even if all 4 screws are installed correctly, these plastic tips won't hold. I don't understand why you used aluminum for the perforated strip and then saved on the mostโ€ฆ

Pros
  • 125VAC/15A/1875W; NEMA 5-15P Inlet, NEMA 5-15R Outlet
Cons
  • Everything is OK

ASSEMBLY PLASTIC PLASTIC AT OUTPUT 16/24. AVOID.

Metal mounting lugs for 9 and 12 output versions ONLY. 16 and 24 outlet versions are PLASTIC. One tongue had a protective plastic cover while the other protected nothing. The unprotected side came ALREADY WITH CRACKS. because it is made of inferior plastic. I removed the still intact plastic tab and uploaded photos as evidence. It's pretty easy to tell that they are NOT metal and are easily bent by hand. Why they chose to use plastic in the LARGE versions is beyond me, but now you can make anโ€ฆ

Ideal for workbench.

I have 20 years of electrical experience and all of these opinions are personal experiences. Industrial grade indoor splitter from Revainbasics. It's rated at 1875 watts and 15 amps to power all your essential devices. The wire can withstand a maximum temperature of 60 degrees Celsius (140 degrees Fahrenheit). This is a 12-outlet power strip with a heavy-duty 6 foot, #14 power cord. It is made of high quality aluminum body materials. The construction is solid. It's relatively light and wellโ€ฆ

Great extension for a workbench, but too long for the office.

Surge protectors often look just like power strips, but not all power strips are surge protectors. Only surge protector protects your devices from power surges. Many extension cords are just glorified extension cords without any protection whatsoever. But you can tell if a strip offers surge protection by examining it for just a few seconds. This surge protector gives me extra power where I need it most, which is right here in the main living room. It is rated to withstand a 600J surgeโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Protects the electronics from damage caused by overvoltage, overvoltage or power failure.
Cons
  • Good, but not very good.
