☕️ Nespresso Coffee Pod Storage Drawer Holder - Amazon Basics, 50 Capsule Capacity Review

This solves a few "inconveniences" of using my Nespresso. First, the storage of the pods. Apparently. Has lots of space. Ideal. Second, my Nespresso machine is big enough to put a regular coffee cup underneath. BUT. I use a travel mug and it's too big to fit underneath. No longer. With my Nespresso on this counter (towards the front) I can now easily fill my travel mug. Love it!

In general - a good and convenient thing. provided you do some magic to make it convenient.1. Capsules MUST be placed cap down. You can't just put them straight out of the storage box. If they are not covered, they will get stuck and the drawer will get stuck when opening or closing. Strange, because only 4 mm inner height would have decided the matter.2. The last (deepest) capsules in the row are hard to get as the drawer doesn't open 100%. So you need to look down to see if there are any…

I'm surprised by all the positive reviews - it's a lot smoother than I expected. I didn't need anything special to store my capsules, but the two main reasons I didn't like it and returned it were: 1) The drawer tends to snag a lot and it doesn't slide out all the way, forcing it on me to put my fingers in. find a wayward pod stuck in the back of the drawer and 2) it's made out of slick, brittle plastic so my pods slid around all over the place. I was very disappointed when I put the Nespresso machine on the drawer and started filling the drawer with Nespresso shots. When I inserted 50 pieces (10 per column with room for 2 or maybe 3 more in each column) I CAN'T CLOSE IT! Does what I expected - holds lots of Nespresso capsules where they wouldn't otherwise take up an entire cupboard shelf - great!
