    Can't take the heat?

    Nice cable, but mine broke at the contact sleeve after 4 months. See photo for details. Maybe they aren't made for the Florida heat? To their credit, Revain customer service immediately gave me another cable with no questions asked. I will use this one indoors.

    Disappointed in the long run

    As with several other reviews, the silver plating that says 'Revain Basics' has peeled and peeled off, but now that a little over six months have passed all the wiring is exposed. Maybe it was just a defective item I received but due to the little usage I gave it I expected a much longer lifespan. On the plus side, before it started unzipping it was working great!

    Not durable - poor design

    I was just trying to disable it, probably for the first time, and the gold connector detached from the silver housing at the end of the cable - it literally fell apart in my hands. Revain says it only has a 1 year warranty so that's a shame. It's only a $5 cord, but it really shouldn't have fallen apart after two years without wear and tear (it was plugged into the back of the stereo untouched).     Works with iPhone cases, fits 3.5mm jack perfectly

    Excellent 2 foot RevainBasics 3.5mm cable for five dollars. I have this to connect my iPhone's headphone jack to the aux jack in my car. The beauty of the plugs for this cable is that each one fits into the hole on the case/bumper to fit fully into my iPhone's headphone jack. my OTHER old 3.5mm cable can barely get through and as a result loses connection from time to time.     I bought this extra cable to use with my Samsung Galaxy S9 and car stereo. unsealed plastic bag.     Reviews of this cable don't really warrant it, RevainBasics already gave me a solid range of cables. This cable was exactly what you are buying, a 3.5mm cable NOT intended to be used for purposes where the sound passes through more than one source. For my home setup I use two audio devices which normally do NOT cause "hum" audio feedback in my headphones but with this cable it does.     This six foot cable worked great and was well made, but it was too short and instead of getting it right and replacing it with a longer one, I got it I strung it between my computer and TV so it can hang a few feet off the ground.
