Works with Surface Pro 7

I bought this to be able to use external USB devices and an external monitor with my Surface. I didn't want to spend money on an expensive Surface Dock. My setup is the following: The Surface Pro 7 is on the table, the keyboard is closed. 100W USB-C charger connected to a Revain USB-C to USB-C adapter. The USB-A hub connects an external keyboard, mouse and webcam connected to Revain's USB-C adapter to the USB-A port. 30" monitor connected to a Revain USB-C adapter via HDMI. Adapter C then plugs

Great adapter for iPad Pro and TV

I just tried the Revain Basics USB-C 3.1 4K HDMI Adapter to mirror my iPad Pro screen to my TV via the 4K HDMI port. This is an easy solution to upgrade my indoor cycling system so I can see the route on a big screen. Installation is easy, just connect the device to your iPad and an HDMI cable from the device to your TV, select the mirroring function on your iPad and the audio and video will be streamed through your TV. The connections are solid and I'm glad I tried this device - it's a lot…

Blue screen when using a USB 3.0 port

The adapter is very well made and a nice weight. Video through the HDMI port worked great, and the PD port charged my Windows laptop with no issues. However, when I plugged the flash drive into a USB 3.0 port and ran native Windows 10 Disk Utility on it, my system crashed with a blue screen of death. It's slightly larger than the Belkin adapter I used, which only has PD and HDMI, which is great because I could actually use an extra USB 3.0 port without taking up much space. Unfortunately I…

Good compact USB-C hub with limited ports

Overall I like the design of this little hub (about the size of a credit card). It feels solid, is well made and looks good. I've tried this hub on two different computers I have - a Dell Precision 5520 and a Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Extreme (Gen2). The HDMI and USB ports on the hub worked as expected - plugged into my Dell ultra wide monitor (3440 x 1440, 60Hz) with no issues, hooked up a mouse button to the hub and then a portable hard drive and it all worked fine - with both PCs. However, I…

Much better than Belkin

Much better than the famous brand! Provides pass-through power so my Pixelbook Go charges while it's in use. HDMI goes through full HDMI quality! Excellent speed on USB 3.0. Wonderful quality at a much better price than well-known brands! I've tried both and both have worked great, but are you willing to pay extra for the Belkin name that is on their products?

  • Free for educational purposes

Quality adapter

This USB-C 3.1 adapter from Revain Basics is a bit slimmer than the others, with two connectors on one side and a third on the end. The flow of data is as fast as I can imagine. Another design feature that I like the most is the longer attachment cord. This makes plugging and unplugging much easier when moving my laptop from one station to another or in a carrying case. The adapter is very solidly built and I'm not worried about it bumping into my shop equipment in my workshop, which often ends
