I am replacing the brass fittings in my house with oiled bronze and was delighted to find this stop bolt. It was easy to install and received as described.

Very good quality bolt processing. The sizes corresponded to those indicated. After installation it worked very well. In general an excellent quality product for the price. I will be purchasing additional ones for another door in my house.

Strong latch for double bedroom doors. A lot of installation work, but not the fault of the products. If you already have one on your door, it's easy to replace. I installed a new solid wood door. Good product!

After replacing all the hardware throughout the house, from horribly shiny gold to brushed nickel, all I had to do was buy a double door latch for the master bedroom. It arrived quickly and looked just like the replacement, although slightly longer. The 1/4" chisel for the door provided the extra length and the two screws to hold it in place took about ten minutes and the job was done! Only criticism, a bit pricey for what it is.

Call me naïve but I thought ubiquitous things like door bolts would be standardized. Not as much! Of course, these bolts not only come in different sizes, but also in different shapes. So when buying latches for existing doors, not only measure the length of the latches (6", 9", etc.), but also pay attention to the shape of the latches (do they have square ends? Rounded ends?).
