This scanner is great. The scan quality is excellent and the instrument.

This scanner is amazing. The scan quality is excellent, the device is reliable and durable. I've had it for many years and it requires minimal basic maintenance and I've had no problems with it. It's worth the price and I would recommend it.

a good scanner or a medical/dental receptionist.

I am a dentist and my reception staff scan a lot. This scanner easily scans ID cards, 8.5x11 sheets of paper, etc. A bit pricey, but we've had it for about 6 months and haven't had any problems with it.

NOT MAC COMPATIBLE - scanners and accessories

This scanner is not compatible with Apple Mac computers. As of June 22, 2015 there are no drivers. If you're using a Mac, avoid this.

Works with document scanners

Purchased to scan ID and insurance cards at a medical clinic. Pretty easy to set up. A bit finicky at times when removing the card, but overall good hardware. At the moment I can't get it higher than 4 as it's only been up for 2 months.

Reliable, but with some drawbacks

In a busy doctor's office like mine, it usually does a pretty good job, but often pulls the paper at a slight angle, resulting in crooked scans. And now that we've been using scanners for more than a few years, they sometimes scan licenses and insurance cards with lines or discoloration on the back when duplexing. At the moment our scanned images have a purple back side 🙄 We use an alcohol cleaning kit as stated which sometimes helps but does not always eliminate image defects. However, the…
