Description of πŸ”Œ Amcrest Active Gigabit PoE Injector Adapter, IEEE 802.3 10BaseT and IEEE 802.3u 100BaseTx Compliant, Up to 100-Meter Range; FSE801G

Generating up to 30W, the POE Injector supplies remote power for products such as wireless access points, Amcrest IP cameras, and videophones. Allows for POE power when a POE switch is not available. This Active Gigabit POE Injector allows you to run Ethernet cables from a POE Switch over long distances, and then split the PoE signal into separate data and power sources in order to run non PoE devices. The Active PoE Injector works with a POE splitter to split a networked PoE signal into separate power and Ethernet data source

Simple, plug and play PoE

Full Disclaimer: I was offered a discount on this product in exchange for an unbiased review (good or bad). While my main network switch can power devices like my Amcrest cameras over ethernet, a simple little switch at the other end of the house won't work. This injector worked great to power a camera connected to this switch without forcing me to run an extra Cat5e cable back to the main switch. Pros: - Simple plug-and-play operation (a data cable connects this injector to an existing…

Easy Breezy Setup works well with network products

Of all the network IP cameras I've ever bought, this is the easiest I've installed. Although I'm more tech savvy, I was initially a bit confused about how POE cameras work. I searched YouTube and contacted Amcrest who were beyond patient and helpful. Since I only wanted to buy a POE camera and didn't need a POE switch, the Injector was the perfect solution for me. Also, I accidentally found an old network switch, so now I really had no reason to spend more than $50 on a POE switch - I could…

Very simple and powerful PoE injector

I bought this to provide power over ethernet and to power the Amcrest camera. This PoE injector is very simple and self-explanatory. It produces more than enough power for the cameras and works well. For the price it does exactly what it should. This is the ideal device for lab testing and setup, or for those who just need a single, self-powered PoE device. A PoE device does not require a splitter. The purpose of a splitter (not included) is to pass power down the network cable and then…

Works Great: Powerline Network Adapter

Full Disclaimer: I was offered a discount on this product in exchange for unbiased reviews (good or bad) of this product. I've used it to connect a 5MP camera in my garage and it's been working great so far. It's pretty much a plug and forget device, providing the required 48 volts for cameras and other devices. I have a lot of experience with POE injectors like phones, cameras, access points, etc. It's not as heavy a device (weight wise) as I've seen from other manufacturers, so I'm hoping…
