Reliable purchase, guaranteed to be a good purchase.

An excellent stone if set up properly. For a couple of weeks, the high temperature was annoying in idle and in games, I tried to adjust the voltage and frequency standards, but I didn’t have enough patience, then the blue screen then hung.🤦🏻‍♂️ but the other day I found just a great program for optimizing ryzen! It's called -CTR! Easy to use, first you do a stability test of the system, then the diagnostics - the program itself tests the stone and eventually shows the cleanliness +…

The product did not disappoint, the quality pleases.

Motherboard ASUS B450M TUF PRO Gaming memory 16 GB 3200CL16. Made OFFSET on processor voltage -0.075 v. Scythe Kotetsu Mark II (SCKTT-2022) cooler - should be efficient for systems up to 150W. The case is small and cramped, coupled with the GTX 1080 TI. While testing further and deciding whether to change to 3600 or 3600X - but judging by a number of reviews, they are also "explosive" and can briefly go beyond 60 degrees C in temperature. I fell for TDP 65W. But now AMD themselves say that…

Pros
  • The increased performance of the R7 3700X is present, but I did not feel any noticeable acceleration relative to the R5 2600 in everyday use. The performance of the multi-threaded load during video conversion pleased, but it's understandable - both the greater number of cores and the performance are higher. I took it for 23300r - not a very big difference with the R5 3600X, but relative to the R5 3600 the difference is very big. Why do I believe that 3600 is a new "top"!
Cons
  • 1) Despite a thermal package of 65W for "atypical" tasks like video transcoding with all cores or Cinebench rendering, the real power goes beyond 90W and the CPU heats up wildly to 76-78C degrees, while the frequency drops to 3.9-4 GHz. In workloads, the temperature easily exceeds 60C, which has to be compensated by coolers - and this is extra noise. 2) A hot "explosive" stone - it heats up quickly and then lowers the frequencies, which causes the fans to spin up at any short-term load, so at first I tried to solve it by setting the PWM fan profile. Then, on the advice of the gamersnexus portal, an OFFSET was made for the processor voltage -0.075 v. This allowed, without removing overclocking to 4.4, to work stably at temperatures up to 60C in games and work tasks. Or set the BIOS to 4.1 GHz with a voltage of 12022 v - but then stress tests do not pass and video conversion, you need to reduce the multiplier to 4.0 GHz or 3.9 GHz for these tasks, increasing the voltage leads to heating for 75C. 3) I took the OEM version. From the store, the legs were jammed at the edge in a blister - he came the next day, apparently the store specialists corrected the handles. Look carefully at the rows upon receipt, bent legs are easy to break off when editing on your own - then you will not return such a stone to the store!

A great option for this money, I definitely recommend it!

In general, I am satisfied with the processor, before it there was a 5960x computer that worked at 4.2 for all cores, burned out in the summer of 2022, rebuilt a new one on x570 from MSI and ryzen 3700x, because. 3900x were in short supply according to space price tags, I was able to run on all cores at 4300, at a voltage of 1.368v, the temperature in stress was 83-85 degrees, the cooling could no longer cope, it costs alphacool eisbaer 280.

Pros
  • I took the processor to work with 3D graphics, it copes with the tasks set with a bang.
Cons
  • not found for my tasks

I am very happy with this purchase, I will advise everyone!

I bought this percentage to replace the legendary 2600K, because its time has passed (especially for those who also need to work for a PC). The performance difference is huge. It was a little annoying at first that the CPU cooler regularly spun up to high speeds and created an unpleasant noise. Over time, it was found that this was due to a sharp increase in processor temperature during the crooked operation of auto boost. Solved this problem for myself like this. First, I set the curves in the

Pros
  • Sane, relative to Intel (at the time of purchase) price. Performance. Pretty cold.
Cons
  • Peculiar work of auto boost and temperature jumps.

Quality is top notch, happy with everything.

Since this is my second Ryzen (I bought it to replace the 1800X), I knew all the features such as frequency and temperature jumps and, most importantly, the method of dealing with a howling heatsink :-) Otherwise, the CPU showed itself perfectly. I disabled auto-acceleration in the BIOSe, set the frequency to 4200, did not touch the voltage, left the machine. In tests with Lightroom (intended use), the hypothesis of a small performance increase due to disabling SMP was confirmed. On the task of

Pros
  • Performance, low TDP, reasonable price, ability to work on older boards
Cons
  • Strange auto-overclocking algorithms, like all Ryzen

A wonderful product, it's nice to use.

I took it for games, streaming and editing in conjunction with the RTX 2060, many people say that it is hot and take Dark Rock 4 for it, but as for me, this is a big overpayment, if you don’t drive the GAMMAXX 400 Blue Basic and the MX-4 termuha, it is enough for eyes, in games on ultras at FHD resolution, it did not heat up more than once above 53 degrees. It is excellent for its money and don’t overpay for a box; it’s easier to take an OEM and buy a normal cooler with this money.

Pros
  • It's perfect for the money

The best purchase in my life, I will definitely buy it again.

I bought it in March 2022, initially I wanted 5600x, but the price of 27 thousand forced me to adjust my plans in favor of 3700x. It costs 4 thousand less (OEM), wins in multi-threaded performance, loses in single-threaded. In general, the 3700x is more preferable for work and I am very pleased with my choice! MSI B550M PRO-VDH mother, Patriot Memory VIPER STEEL PVS416G320C6*2, PCCooler GI-46U cooler, on Ubuntu 20 flight is great! Under stress tests (for example, phoronix-test-suite benchmark…

Nothing unusual, normal product.

The matter is that settings selected default. Disabled all boosters. Motherboard ASUS TUF GAMING B550M-PLUS (WI-FI) A couple of times I saw the normal mode of the processor frequencies in the region of 2200 in idle time. It does not rise above 3.6, but 99% of the time it works at 3400-3600, which I consider to be very high values for working as a typewriter. It may be a motherboard issue. I would be glad if someone tells me how to set up the normal operation of the processor. ate…

Pros
  • Multi-core.
Cons
  • Temperature and incomprehensible algorithm of operation in idle

Just super, it's beautifully made, I'm very happy with it.

Finally, I understood why we need ruzens. I never thought that I could stream with such sky-high presets for me. In rendering faster than my 8600k, threads decide all the same. In games, I did not feel the increase, I think everything is hollowed out in a 2k monitor, or the processor is not optimized for games. The biggest pain for me is overclocking. After I played with Intel, it was so insulting that the percentage does not give anything for overclocking, except for extra watts. At first I…

Pros
  • You don’t need top cooling, you don’t have to think about overclocking, good at rendering, good at streaming (very)
Cons
  • Overclocking does not give a special increase, RAM only works fine up to 3800 MHz, the standard voltage for the processor is inadequate for me

Best product I have ever reviewed, I recommend it to everyone!

The standard cooler is quiet during normal operation, noisier under 100% load, but IMHO it's not critical. Where I ate, the difference with the OEM version was 500-1000, so I took a regular cooler and am satisfied with it. I have a Zalman Z3 Plus Black case in which there are 4 standard coolers, the low CPU temperature may be due to this. In any case, the noise level (minimum) suits me

Pros
  • It works normally at standard frequencies, the regular boxed cooler copes with its duties quite well, it did not rise above 75-80 (under load on all cores). 8 cores, 16 threads, frequency fluctuates
Cons

The best thing I've ever used, I recommend it to everyone!

I switched to it from 2600X, the difference is quite noticeable, even without the frame counter. The picture in games is smoother, the minimum FPS has clearly grown. Don't forget to flash the new BIOS to support 3xxx. The temperature in games is about 68 degrees (Noctua DH-15), the peak frequency is 4325 MHz. This percentage is a good opportunity to wait for DDR5, PCI-E 4.0-5.0 and a new revolutionary stone for the money from Intel or AMD

Pros
  • Many cores/threads Increased single core speed Cache size and speed Support for legacy motherboards (AM4) Price lower than Intel Improved work with memory and its overclocking
Cons
  • Price, it is better to wait until the hype subsides. Unlocked multiplier, but there is no point in overclocking. AMD squeezed everything out of it.

I didnt expect the quality to be so high.

A very good (downright popular) processor that combines performance and moderate heat dissipation. An additional advantage is the ideal default setting (in 99%, manual setting will not give anything). In terms of heat dissipation, everything is average, with weak coolers temperatures can reach up to 40-45 at rest, and up to 95 (maximum speed for this processor) under load. With the top ones (Noctua DH-15), the temperature at rest is 32-34, and 68 at max load (without overclocking and with PBO…

Pros
  • Excellent performance per watt/ruble Set up almost perfectly out of the box Medium hot (as an advantage)
Cons
  • Current price Almost complete pointlessness of overclocking Small spread of parameters from instance to instance Medium hot (as disadvantage) Maximum frequencies are almost never reached There are memory requirements

Affordable Intel Killer!

This processor not only surpasses the current Intel product line, but also shows worthy product quality. I never thought I'd hear that from myself, but I'm a firm believer in AMD and what Zen chips are achieving here after seeing it with my own eyes. This processor is currently handling Star Citizen on the one hand and streaming on the other, while decompressing some files and keeping up with everything else that requires it. Not only does it work quite well, but it also maintains a stable…

Cons

Some adjustments needed

I'm glad it's finally available at the suggested retail price. I got the 3700x to replace a broken 6700k system. The ASUS GENE VIII motherboard is out of service. So it's time for an upgrade and back to AMD. The last AMD part I had was an AMD FX-8350 in 2012. 3700x seems to work fine, Cinebench scores 15 when 850 to 2145, so that's the thing. The chip is great and all, but it gets too hot when idling, 40+ C on AIO, 24 C at ambient. I find it handy when my computer gets warm while gaming etc but

It makes no sense to buy 3800x

TL;DR: A really good and stable processor for all workloads and games. Still has a good stable stock clock speed of around 4.2GHz with a nice cooler, about the same as the 3800x without the extra $$$. Be careful with the motherboard you buy as updating the BIOS on x470 and earlier boards to support AMD 3rd Gen processors can be problematic. Turbo up to 4392MHz. The stable 4.2GHz all-core clock is about the same as the 3800x (according to other reviewers), but the 3800x has a slightly higher…
