Worked with light switch covers

These screws were longer than the normal screws that come with light switch covers (the nickel covers I bought were missing screws). I used some heavy gauge wire cutters to cut them to size. They worked well and flush with the light switch cover.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Wrong size. Bad description.

These screws are 1/2 inch in diameter. We ordered these because the screws that came with our new wall panels were too long. They came and they were 3/4 inch. This is the length of the old screws that were too long. Beware. American production is also written in the description, but on the box it says every day, made in China.

  • Hands-free operation

Wrong Size Wall Plates and Accessories

I should have read the reviews but what could go wrong with the simple screw Revain chose? The screws are longer than 1/2 inch, although several Revain reviews say they don't match the description. Revain must either send the advertisement or change the description. They can be repaired with a cut-off wheel and file, which is easier than returning a 99-cent item, but someone's sleeping on the counter.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Working Speed

Both decor and traditional switches require different lengths

Difficult to find, oddly as big stores have so many polished nickel plates. Reviewers complain that they're not a standard length. Something like that does not exist. Different junction boxes, different installations and even different switch styles such as decorative and traditional switches require different lengths. Most power pliers have a hole that makes them easy to cut to the right length, even for me, a medium-sized hand with mild carpal tunnel weakness. I suspect you could also cut…

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not sure
