Black Mounting Nuts PK2, American Standard 065800-0070A Review

Bought these to replace a broken Glacier Bay faucet. The top of the faucet came off and I couldn't find any replacement parts at Home Depot. They fit perfectly and arrived in less than two days. Perfect!

Glad I found these replacement mounting nuts. This review is not so much to praise a product that appears to be of better quality than the original nuts, but to add to all of the others who commented that the original nuts failed. Mine just broke after 5 years. Once I cleaned the unit and found it was loose. Of course I pulled from below and the nut just fell apart in my hand. Old mounting nuts on our bathroom faucet cracked and fell off. It arrived quickly and was perfect. Because of the hard water buildup, I had to soak the old faucet's threads in vinegar for several hours, then rub them down with a rag before tightening the nuts - then they turned smoothly and securely.
