I think I'm going to love this window cover!

I considered paying $16 to S&H to make this product $60 plus tax, but decided to buy two paltry $30s over the years that are also better look like flimsy plastic. It fits securely in my window and fits perfectly! One improvement I would suggest is that it should be made with a slight slope away from the house (i.e. thicker at the back, thinner at the front) to allow for water/moisture drainage. A brown, gray OR taupe over white option would also be nice. In general, I think I will like it!

Hard wearing but could be better

Bought two for window ducts nearby - they arrived in very different shades of white and grey. Translucent can be misleading - they block more than 75% of light. On the other hand, they're very strong, but that doesn't mean flexibility in fitting your fountain either - it has to fit perfectly, and many old fountains have fallen apart over the years. They don't need to be secured or weighted down (unless you're in tornado areas). Yes they cover the window vents but the molded plastic finish…

  • I'll add later

Every two to three years I have to find/buy new manhole covers. They are always made of cheap transparent plastic that cracks and is difficult to weather. The local hardware store doesn't have them, so a large hardware store is a 30 minute drive away. They also cost between $20 and $35 each. Another problem is that local raccoons like to climb in window wells. So if I don't press on the edges, they move the well covers. I found this Amerimax at Revain and bought one. It doesn't fit perfectly in
