I considered paying $16 to S&H to make this product $60 plus tax, but decided to buy two paltry $30s over the years that are also better look like flimsy plastic. It fits securely in my window and fits perfectly! One improvement I would suggest is that it should be made with a slight slope away from the house (i.e. thicker at the back, thinner at the front) to allow for water/moisture drainage. A brown, gray OR taupe over white option would also be nice. In general, I think I will like it!

Every two to three years I have to find/buy new manhole covers. They are always made of cheap transparent plastic that cracks and is difficult to weather.
