🔌 Amiroko USB-C to Mini DisplayPort Adapter: 4K Support for MacBook Pro, Alienware, Dell Monitor - Gray Review

I needed to troubleshoot an external monitor issue on my 2018 MacBook Pro. I can't afford the cost of a 13 port OWC dock so I'll have to settle for that for now. Quality component and works as advertised. My only complaint is that the USB-C/Thunderbolt port is very difficult to plug in, almost to the point of apprehension. My other TB 3 cables slide in easily, but this one takes a lot of effort to fit properly for some reason. Time will tell if this will hurt my competition.

I bought this adapter so my new Lenovo T470 can drive Apple LED Cinema Display. Those with Apple displays know that Apple offers a universal display control cable with a MiniDP (Apple Thunderbolt) connector (male). As of early 2017, all new Lenovo laptops equipped with a USB-C port can now stream video and audio through the side USB-C port. This Amiroko adapter is the only one I could find on Revain that makes this connection possible and easy. See my photos.
