i have previously used these types of laces in other shoes and was happy to buy more. I'm on my feet all day and I don't have time to keep tying my shoelaces every time they come undone. This makes all my shoes slip-and-go type shoes and they are easy to tighten or loosen when needed. installing them is super simple, but I do recommend to cut of the hard ends so that they crimp easily.

My son is autistic and has never mastered knots. Rather than traumatizing him making him learn a skill he was never going to be good at, we got him shoes with Velcro closures. As an adult, Velcro styles are severely limited and slip-ons aren't always appropriate. Someone at a show store suggested elastic laces. My daughter doesn't like tying her shoelaces. Rather than letting her walk around with her laces untied, getting in puddles, and dragging mud and dirt into the house, I got her these. They're no more difficult to install than regular laces. The elastic pieces even come with little aglets to facilitate lacing. (And then you just cut them off. It's nice of them to go through the extra step.) So far, they're working fine. Shoes can be slipped on and off. Lace ends are neatly tucked in. Win-win.

I love these laces. They really make putting shoes on and taking them off very easy. One caution would be is to make sure you leave them a bit long until you're really sure you want to cut them shorter. I made the mistake of cutting one pair too short and it's kind of a bummer on that pair. But this comes with 4 pairs so no big deal.I love wearing shoes I can put on and take off so easily.

These laces are way too long for athletic shoes & too difficult to insert through lace holes & cannot even lock them - even my strong husband cannot lock them.

They're easy enough, if you don't have dexterity issues, to assemble and install. They have a button instead of the disc slider like other brands. The main issue is pressing the button to get the laces inserted. Do Not Cut the laces before sliding them through the button. And give yourself some extra length. They'll loosen after a while and you can always trim shorter.

They aren't as attractive as the pic and though make several pairs, with only limited sets of ends, you can only make 1pr at a time. I was kind of disappointed.

Simple laces that help with the early morning school rush by making it easy for kids to tie/tighten their own laces. May not provide enough support for some types of physical activity.

Ordered these because I had a knee replacement and had a hard time getting down to tie my shoe. I ordered these and put the top strap under the tongue of the shoe and now they are easier because I can slip them on.

So I have to admit I was totally confused at first. (Press the button down then feed the laces through). Took me a minuet to realize that’s what I needed to do. Also I used a lighter to burn the ends of the laces after cutting. So far I love these and will order more.
