They fit! - Spares

I was told it would not fit my 2013 f150 but it fits fine. Now it's a lot easier for my wife to get on a 9" lift with 37" tires! What makes her happy makes me happier!

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Much easier to get in and out of our F350

I'm 75 years old and they make getting in and out of our F350 so much easier for my wife and I. The steps aren't as narrow as without them, but I can live with that.

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • Blank

I used them on my Ford factory steps to lower them.

I used these on my factory Ford footpegs to lower them 2 inches. They hold your footboard up to 2 inches when the boards are stowed, but I'm used to the look and find they can really help keep the footpegs clean.

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • Zero

Suitable for all conventional amplifiers

Suitable for all conventional motorized amplifiers. I'm not sure why it only points to a specific truck. These are universal. The only downside is that they inherently lower the steps 2 inches off the bottom of the truck when folded, they no longer sit flush with the cab, but there's no getting around this if you want to lower the steps lower. My 5ft 2in wife loves the lower step height on my 7in elevated Silverado at 35!

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Medium

Don't listen to Ford or AMP - this kit WORKS!

I bought a 2017 F350 with automatic foot pegs but they were too high for my disabled wife to step on. I contacted Ford and they told me there is no way to lower the boards. I contacted AMP and they told me they don't make a lowering kit that will work with these boards. Then I took a chance and bought this expansion set and with a little swapping of parts it worked perfectly. Now my wife is happy and so am I. If anyone else needs to lower the power level on their 17/18 F250/350, buy this kit…

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging

Had to modify for Dodge Ram 1500

I have a 2020 Dodge Ram 1500 with steps. The product listing didn't have my step # part but thought I'd give it a try anyway as I had to lower the steps when boarding the truck when I raised the truck 6 inches. What I understand are these 2" extensions. It is necessary to sand the middle high part on the back of the extension so the slot on the back of the extension goes all the way to the back. Once I did that they fitted perfectly and I increased the footrest height with the extenders from…

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure

Wife approved probably lol

Not sure about that yet. I posted a picture of one installed. I also posted a full image with extensions and an image without extensions. I don't like the way the step goes under the truck bed, now it looks awful, I don't like the look of that huge block when the step is open. With a normal top stage you don't even realize it's there, with extensions you see the whole stage even if the top stage loses the purpose of the amp stages entirely. You'd think that for something that costs $125 they'd…

Pros
  • Trial for one year
Cons
