Good product with the best body and finish

We like steps. However, we had them installed by a mechanic. It's worth every penny to have a mechanic install them. love the product.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Incorrect instructions - item returned

Got this as a birthday gift from the kids. I had previously installed their rear stand so I figured I could do it. Requires drilling holes in the frame. The instructions didn't match the Tundra's undercarriage, the customer support wasn't helpful - too bad for you. . For the price I would have expected better instructions. I returned, sent the children back.

Pros
  • Footboard quickly lowers or retracts with a flick of the foot and is rated for up to 300 pounds
Cons
  • Operating Speed

Difficult installation, no help from manufacturer.

Nearly impossible to install. The instructions are very unclear. I've been working with cars for over 12 years, I know how to use a wrench. There are no applicable images to guide you through the confusing instructions. I also contacted the company for additional diagrams or assistance and they recommended that I take it to a body shop to have it professionally installed.

Pros
  • Maintenance-free, self-lubricating, all-weather bushings
Cons
  • Upgrades
