I needed to add a cache disk for my unraid server setup in a Dell R730 and it worked without any problems or headaches. I'll order a few more later.

It's amazing to get full NVME speed, a bit slower than one connected directly to motherboard which is normal. I deployed it with Samsung 980 Pro PCIe 4.0 NVME M.2. Thanks

Since I'm having trouble with my NVMe memory card being too thick to fit in regular slots without my graphics card fitting properly, I can fix this issue.

Love everything about this unit except that it doesn't include a heatsink. Because of this, I used a different block instead. I've still kept this in case I need to use it in the future, but I need to pick up a heatsink first.

Very flat design, can be used without a metal plate. My fairly old (2015) computer was able to see the device without installing any additional software. Within five minutes of installation, I was able to start installing programs on the 2TB nvme storage. After about 10 minutes of copying items onto it, the drive still felt fairly cool. I recommend this inexpensive way to add NVME storage.

This works as advertised with no issues. Test system: Ryzen 3600XT / 16 GB memory / Gigabyte AB350 gaming adapter installed in the 2nd PCIE slot, the first slot is currently occupied by nVidia 970GTX. The only thing that bothered me was screwing the bracket to the PCB - one screw was ok , the other one required more force than I would like (there didn't seem to be any cross threads, but I didn't disassemble and check). Works, we'll see about durability in a year or so.

I'll leave this so I can set the default when building/repairing devices. I'm using this in a MAC Pro (2008) and it seems to see the card but not the drive. I like the map but wish I had read it more carefully. I ended up with an OWC adapter that was fully compatible with my system.

The first thing you notice when you open it is that it wasn't created. It must be delivered assembled. Second, the case mount is plastic, not metal. I've never used a plastic bracket before. In addition, the elastic straps tear when you attach them, they are too tight. Finally, the map has a ridiculously bright green light that you can't turn off. lights up when not in use, flashes when in use. Who thought it was a good idea? This one will definitely return to Revain.

This adapter serves its purpose perfectly! Absolutely no problem installing or attaching the bracket (which comes separately to save space). Note that the 80mm SSD nut is already integrated into the adapter board. Additional nuts and bolts are only needed if the SSD is shorter than 80mm. I'm like a plastic clip. Worry less about short circuit and it's screwed tight. Of course, these plastic or metal clips don't need to be overtightened! :-) And a PCIe 4.0 adapter! woohoo! This is a good…
