Driver not working! However, the Amped UA600 comes with amplified antennas.

, I downloaded the latest driver from Amped website. I installed it before connecting to the device but when I tried to connect to the network it refused to connect. The Amped UA600 USB Wi-Fi Adapter worked for me. When used with more powerful antennas, the UA 600 has the best performance of any USB plug-in device I've tested.

Something went wrong.

, because after receiving the product, it was easy to install on a desktop computer. Here's where the problem starts: After restarting my computer, it tried to connect when it was connected to my wireless modem, after which the modem turned off. After trying to restart the adapter again, it does the same thing and just shuts down. Tried to contact support and got no answer. Sent them an email, got no response either. I don't know if I did something wrong, but it just doesn't work.

UA1000 did not work

Amped UA1000 hardware looks good, but there are software glitches. In ten days of trying to get it working, it only connected once and then unexpectedly. Most of the time it doesn't see any networks, although my built-in adapter sees half a dozen. When it saw some networks, I failed to connect to them several times. Amped phone support did not help me. Amped site tech support didn't help me. My email to Amped Technical Support was never answered. (I'm using Windows 7 Professional on an Acer…

I have more WiFi range - 4.5 stars!

I would give this review 4.5 stars as it gave me a lot more range than before. This adapter is very nicely finished. Higher quality than shown in the photos and works great. Installation was quick and I immediately saw many more networks. The adapter is a bit more expensive than the others, so I would deduct 0.5 stars if I could. I really wanted a UA2000 but couldn't bring myself to shell out the extra $20. Read a review on PC Mag that said the UA2000 was great so I figured this one would be…

USB 3.0 causes interference

This is not stated on the Revain website but after searching the Amped Wirelesss FAQ/Forum pages I found that USB 3.0 ports/products can interfere with this device as both use the 2.4 spectrum of Use 2.5GHz. This interference causes the device to turn off within a few seconds after connecting to the router. Since all ports on my laptop are USB 3.0, this device is unusable for me.
