Great multimeter and sensors are fine. Read instructions

Very durable I use it every day. Everyone complains that the probe ends. Unscrew the ends and you get a longer probe. However, if you are working with high voltage it would be a good idea to minimize the length of the probe to avoid arcing.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Some difficulties

DC Voltage Error - Electrical Specifications

After several years of reliable operation, DC voltage measurements showed erroneous values. The power supply measurement is 5V and the meter showed 24V. Turn it off and on again and the measurement was correct. The problem is that I don't know when there is a bad reading. Changing the battery didn't help.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Everything is fine

Fairly full featured DMM

This is a great DMM for the price and almost on par with my Fluke 179 DMM at work. It has far more features than most people need for home repairs. I think it has a slightly slower response time than my chance, but it's better than most DMMs. The layout is pretty good and it's been pretty easy to use so far. Great buy for DIY or even DIY field equipment. That's a little less than my Fluke 179 working meter.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Questionable buy for seniors

Excellent product at a very affordable price!

This RMS meter is a great product that offers great performance at a very affordable price. Secondly, purchasing through Revain guarantees my complete satisfaction with the quality and advertised feature while protecting me in the event I need to return the product. I have used many features such as a temp gauge to accurately measure the temperature of my ATF as I fill my transmission. Today I used it to diagnose a vacuum problem with an AC meter and continuity function. Good product at a…

Pros
  • nice stuff
Cons
  • cable is shorter than other picks

Very good at what it does, the included pins aren't great IMO

The meter itself is great but the included pins are for anything but "one handed probing, touching and looking" -Measurements useless . You can't attach an alligator clip to it, and I found the included alligator clip to be less than reliable. In order for this to be useful for my purposes, I need to purchase a set of good test leads. I hate the test leads that come with it, but the meter itself is great. Admittedly, I didn't use it much, since I also bought the much cheaper Etekcity MSR-C600…

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • A little maintainability

Works well but could do better

This is a sturdy multimeter that is accurate and works as advertised. However, the 38SW-A RS232 software/cable it connects to (sold separately) is a bit clunky. , so consider the Amprobe 37XR-A, which has no serial ports but can measure inductance - a useful feature. While I have no major complaints, the device does have room for improvement. For example, the continuity test is very slow (even if you touch the probes, it takes some time before the beep sounds), and the selector switch is a bit…

Pros
  • Great for a small home

Excellent for this money!

I am an aircraft mechanic and needed a reliable gauge that could perform all the functions of this gauge. It was between that and the much more expensive Fluke gauge. Having used this gauge extensively I have to say that it does what it's supposed to do and works just as well as the more expensive Fluke. The meter is rated at 1000 volts and 10 amps, making it useful for almost any application. I personally like the selector switch better than the multifunction buttons on Fluke test tools. The…

Bigger than I thought but still ok

Amprobe 33XR-AFYI, this is a relatively large gauge, which of course is necessary because of the huge dial! Got this for about 1/3 the new price, thanks Revain Warehouse! At this price I just couldn't do without it. Sometimes you just want a portable meter, and that fits the bill perfectly. Of course, most auto-ranging meters have a manual mode, but it takes a lot of button presses to cycle through the ranges. This thing, bam, done. Some other things I like: - Velcro magnet is super cool to use

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • old
