This thing works but as others have mentioned it's LOUD, even on low settings it can be a bit noisy. Also, I would like it to be half the size. I'll have to see if I can fit it under the kitchen cabinet to keep the pup away from that area.

I wanted to wait a bit to see if some of the world's stubborn cats would stay away from my kitchen counter. AND THEY WORK! They just sit and argue about jumping, but they don't. One of them still does, but descends as quickly as possible. Finally no more hair, no more cleaning the counter three times a day, no more food. SAVIOR! I have them at a low level. My family has more of themselves including me than cats!

Works, but noisy. There is no tone duration adjustment. He squeaks loudly longer than necessary. There is no adjustment for the area covered by the thermal sensor. If only there was a volume control. I only gave this 2 stars (instead of 1) because it will get your pet to leave the area immediately BUT it will cause hearing damage to everyone in that range even at low settings.
