Vw/Audi TDI owners need it!

WD700. If you wish to have your TDI serviced regularly, this will be done for you. This will reset "Service Period" and "Oil Interval". If you change the fuel filter, you can also use it to fill the fuel filter/fuel system. (No need for expensive Ross technology). And finally, it allows you to register a new battery for your vehicle. Worked great to reset the 2019 due date on the Audi Q5

Like other reviewers I was very disappointed to learn that there was no way to reset the constant 'service due' reminder on the dash screen (although we did have a mechanic has already done this work). I didn't want to go to an Audi dealer (problem in itself) and pay just to have it done. This device works great. It's from China so some instructions are unclear but it works. Ancel VD700: not too impressive

I think this scan tool is a good choice, but only a good one. The one I received had a decent scratch and the screen flickered with some highlighted lines. Best for the minimal DIYer. It's a bit difficult to navigate as there is no intuitive system. I can access VW/Audi system controllers. However (for those of you who know a little more about controllers), accessing the controller and filling groups/channels - it will not give you a real-time description of the data being transmitted. Excellent value for money and the manufacturer offers an incredible support service.

I bought this primarily to reset the oil change reminder on my Huracán, which requires a fairly specific (and unintuitive) set of steps to complete the process. At first the VD700 didn't reset the reminder so I contacted the manufacturer for assistance. Wow. They were amazingly responsive, sending me quick replies and providing me with new firmware versions to try while they figured out what went wrong.
