I bought these after watching a YouTube video showing how to attach something (like a rack or ironing board holder) to a hollow door installed. Well, it looked easy enough for this dumbass who wants to be a confident woman. So I bought her. You are the BOMB! Easy installation, even for me. The video guy used power tools but they are not needed. Just a Phillips screwdriver and you're done. With them not even a butch can put a mirror on a hollow door!

I've had a full length mirror, 16" wide, 60" tall, and 1/8" thick for at least a year. It was leaning against the wall the whole time because I didn't think I could attach it to the back of a closet door. Don't try now, I never will. Or I have to pay someone to do it, although it really would be no small feat for a professional. Hollow doors are known to be difficult to attach with fasteners. Butterfly hooks work, but the holes that need to be drilled to put the butterfly anchors through are always very large. Drywall anchors but didn't realize they also made these specifically for hollow section doors. The only difference I see is that the drywall anchors are plastic and some kind of metal alloy. If you've used these types of dowels in drywall before, they're used in exactly the same way. Screw in these dowels. One…
