What Happened to Andis

I should have learned my lesson by now, but because I liked the way these clippers cut I kept buying them. Not anymore, this was my last pair for the last year, I changed 4 pairs after only a few cuts, they don't want to work anymore. I clean them, oil them and put them in a case after each use. I've also noticed that they're getting hotter and hotter. Prior to these 4 past purchases I had a pair that lasted about 3 years with no problems, I changed the blade and the cars were worn like new…

Very sharp but does not bite.

The clipper is well made and brand new with no hair or other signs of previous ownership as others have stated. The weight is comfortable - they're heavy enough to speak of quality, but not so heavy that they're unwieldy or tiring. Although they are not the quietest trimmers, they are not as loud as, for example, the Oster 77 Classic hair clippers. I know this isn't an apples-to-apples comparison, but this is the best point of reference one can give without being a hairstylist. My son is…

Waste of money - doesn't work

Worst clippers I have ever owned. The blades keep stopping moving on me. I use a brush to dry my hair, compressed air to blow it out, oil it regularly and it keeps getting stuck. again and again. You have to unscrew the damn thing, disassemble it, wipe it all down and then you're good to go. and then stops again. It also runs very hot. If you shave anything for more than a few minutes, the thing gets hot. The blades are also brittle and break easily. I accidentally dropped it inches from the…

Hot clipper! Not in a good way!

This is a fairly simple product so I am leaving a simple review. The product does what it is supposed to and it is a good clipper. You can get a very close shave and since the blades protrude on the sides you can get in and really get a nice detailed line. The main complaint about this clipper is that it gets very hot. The heat does not come from the blade either, the body of the hair clipper itself becomes very hot while only doing a haircut. The case gets quite hot, it becomes uncomfortable…

Mine too Clipper: Clipper

I have shaved my head with these clippers without any problems and I usually use them for my body and face care. My only problem is getting the hair out of the clipper, if you don't take out the hair that got in, it heats up faster and a lot of hair can get in, trust me. The only reason I bought this is because I damaged the wiring trying to clean my latest Andis contourer. They do their job without question, but the problem of stuck hair becomes a problem over time.

GARBAGE. DON'T WASTE TIME AND MONEY

Well this product started out great but went bad fast. I used this product weekly and cleaned and oiled it after each use. Ironically, the machines broke down 3 days after the return window was closed - a piece literally broke off during use (see photo). I believe this is a manufacturing defect and now of course I'm stuck with clippers that don't work. This product cannot withstand the use in a professional hair salon, several times a day, several days a week. I couldn't stand one day a week…
