Superb Quality: In-Dash Navigation

This was the best buy of the last year. It looks great on my dash, completely OEM. And the carplay is great. The only thing I don't like is the inability to change the desktop order.

Boost the volume on the standard model

Love how it fits right into the dash. I don't like the lack of instructions to ensure the head unit is fully rotated before removing it. I played around with this for 5 days trying to figure out what was wrong with my sound system.

RIP volume knob for in-dash navigation

Bigger isn't always better, I miss the volume knob. And you might think that if you remove the CD player and the volume control, the speed of the processor will be higher than that of the last Roman head unit, not faster, but on the contrary, slower, not too impressive. Although I like the big screen. But too bright at night, even with complete blackout.

Good but not the best in automotive and automotive electronics

Looks good and fits well. SUPER SLOW when you change something. Most of the steering wheel still works. The biggest problems with the device are bluetooth and most of the time no connection. The phone says connected but the device is not. Tried uninstalling and restoring same issues. After my last phone update, it no longer connects to the device at all. The cameras should just come with the damn thing. I don't have to place any additional orders to get the things that come with it for free or…

Yes, best for cars and automotive electronics

I think most of the positive reviews are good so I'll just add a few things that bother me and a few discoveries related to the installation. First, I have Bose speakers, but I can't add enough base to the sound - I'm still playing around with the EQ. Next, the home screen isn't customizable, so I have a bunch of giant buttons that I don't use. Why not add a CarPlay button to your home screen? Cheap non-working junk heap with a 9 inch screen

This radio wasn't as easy to install as they are. Once installed, it will not stop at known good radio stations, and the device will erase all saved stations after the car has been off for more than a few minutes. BUILT-IN CarPlay works great and no need to buy a dongle. Even though they said I need it for CarPlay to work. The steering wheel controls work but the call and voice control buttons don't work. Not compatible with Bose Unit 2013

My car came from the factory with a touchscreen. Keep that in mind in my review as other fires may not have any of these issues. Well after a few weeks of back and forth with customer support I sent the unit back. They offered to send an adapter to connect the factory microphone. It wasn't specified, but the factory wires would have to be cut to connect. Support was unable to provide the correct option for any of the issues.
