I wish I found this sooner. I've had a lot of air mice and this is already my favorite. It is ergonomic, looks like a classic remote control and uses normal batteries instead of permanent batteries. That last point might be a negative for some, but not having to worry about charging one more thing is a plus in my opinion. It's the cheapest thing that could be funded, but it doesn't seem like it. The only drawback is the missing backlight, which was not advertised.

i bought this to use for my tx3 pro android box, it doesn't work. Plugged in USB stick and nothing. Then I tried to use it for my TCL smart TV and first you need to use TCL remote control to program air mouse remote control. I did this and it worked, but you can program a maximum of 5 buttons, 1 of which is the power button. After programming 5 keys I tried to use the keyboard by plugging a USB dongle into the back of the TV but the keyboard didn't work at all. So I will have to send it back.

When I plugged in the dongle and turned on the mouse, it immediately brought the PC back to the Windows 10 login screen. Worse, the PC refused to work with both the fingerprint scanner and manual password entry. Only entering the PIN code worked. This thing KILLS batteries. It has an always-on motion controller mode for mouse use, but doesn't seem to have an auto shutoff when you stop moving. So if you press a motion control button that moves the cursor but forget to turn it off, your batteries will die before you realize your mistake. Business. I used this for my android tv box as my touch keyboard battery was dead. Wow! I was surprised how good it is. The Air Mouse behaves like a Wii Mote, so you simply use the remote control to move the mouse, making navigation much easier. I have used them as mouse/keyboard replacements for Windows and Linux HTPCs and they are very good. On Windows computers, you may need to unplug and plug it back in after boot for it to work. Don't expect it to do a lot of typing, and you need to remember certain things, e.g. B. pressing Function or Caps when you're done to turn it off.
