easy to set up on TV and video

I'm totally surprised how easy it is to use. My husband bought it and tuned it to our smart tv for more channels and so far so good

Slow at 100Mbps. turn off confusion.

I didn't like turning on when sleep mode was off. The device freezes on some applications that need to be turned off and restarted. Not what I expected.

Not order! good for TV and video

It looks, feels and works like mid 1990's technology. The list of errors can be long. My rating is 0 stars, it doesn't deserve it. Don't waste your time or money. It will be returned.

Bad device. in TV and video

Returned the device. Permanent disconnection from the WLAN right out of the box. The only device in my house that had trouble connecting to the WiFi. I checked the firewall on the router, nothing prevents a stable connection.

WARNING: not for Kodi - hardware decoding is not supported

This little box might be perfect for you if you don't intend to use Kodi with it. It is based on the Allwinner chipset, which Kodi does not support for hardware decoding. Kodi works but the video is slow and choppy. I returned it and am ordering one with an Amlogic chipset that supports Kodi. I'm giving this review one star because Kodi comes pre-installed and doesn't work well due to an unsupported chipset. If Kodi wasn't pre-installed I would give it 5 stars.

Just pay extra and get a Minix or Nvidia Shield

I've had a Minix for years but OTA updates stopped a while ago and it runs Android 5. Still, it always is even better than this. I've tried it on 2 TVs and with 2 different HDMI cables and the video output was terrible - it's by no means 4k, although various apps ask for its output. Also, the sound was so low I had to turn up the volume on the TV and even then it was barely audible. I've also played around with all available settings to no avail. Broken box suitable for streaming media player

This was my second Android TV; I used my previous model for a few years but decided I needed more RAM and smoother 4K. So it's not that I don't know what I do with these things.
