Practical for reptiles and amphibians

This works well for sick kittens as it can be placed under their bed and I don't have to worry about power cords or being electrocuted by bodily fluids. It heats up easily in the microwave, keeps you warm for hours and allows the kitten to move away from the unit if it gets too hot.

Decent Pet Warmer

So we got this to use with our border collie/lab to put in the kennel outside with her when it gets cooler at night and it worked fine one night but then ours did dog destroys it. It warmed up easily and well enough in the microwave and she seemed to like it and she petted it one evening when she used it, but then when morning came and it was no longer needed she started playing with it and finally broke it. . She started chewing on it so we had to pick it up and throw it away so we wouldn'tโ€ฆ

Snuggle Safe is great, bowl is cheap

Snuggle Safes is the REAL heating pad used by almost all experienced kitten/small animal parents. Electric heating pads are not safe for use with small animals as they pose a fire hazard and tend to create "hot spots" that can cause burns. I've tried many alternatives (rice socks, commercial "pea" pads, other similar products, and nothing beats Snuggle Safe for even, safe warmth. Plus, the hard plastic makes them easy to clean and sanitize. They're a Lifesaver you need one (or more) of theseโ€ฆ
