The Chinese imitation is very practical, but the fit and finish are nothing compared to the Bessey clip. Undoubtedly, it wears out quickly with constant use. The Bessey clip exudes quality. Well it's a surprise to finally get what I paid good money for and to be able to say it was worth the extra cost. This clamp is big and well made and reworked for what I'm doing now, but then again it does the job a lot better if you have a good tool. I have several welding projects ahead of me and based on the reviews I thought I'd try one of these instead of the cheaper ones I've been using. makes fitting corner joints faster and more reproducible.
