Makes repairs easier

Replacement headlight assembly and required to remove front bumper fascia. New clips make assembly much easier instead of trying to reuse old ones. Worth every penny.

Pros
  • Handy part
Cons
  • Something else

Great product at a great price!

These brackets are the same as the factory brackets on my Subaru Forester. The kit is excellent value for money. Try buying similar ones at an auto parts store and you'll see how expensive they are elsewhere.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Expensive

Didn't fit what I needed.

My 2014 WRX broke a few clips under the hood thanks to a shabby workshop after I was hit by a deer. They didn't fit either of the two different clip styles I needed. Not really worth returning them and hopefully they'll come in handy elsewhere on the car in the future.

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • having problems

Perfect for my 2012 Outback

They are PERFECT for my 2012 Subaru Outback. I always break or lose at least a few while working on my car. Even replacing the lightbulb at the front of the car insures a few lost or broken ones. My front wheel arches no longer flap in the wind on the Autobahn and for the first time my air intake ALWAYS has BOTH holders!

  • Good product for the price

Fixings are fairly decent but the tool is rubbish

The tip of the tool is quite thick, it has been sharpened to thickness and then coated with paint or anodized further enhancing the fleshy tip. This tool is worse than just a screwdriver or your fingers. Throw the tool straight into the toilet. there it should be, or get another set with a real BLUE PEN tool

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Some minor things

Don't expect to use them again. single use.

Downgraded to 3 stars because it is not easy to remove. I had to break each one to take them off, the plastic is flimsy when it comes to pushing or twisting them. Holds the inner wheel in place well. But when it came to distance, it was painful. Pliers are needed to pry and pull out the clamps. At least I have more. But damn it was a headache.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Volume

Good quality and fits most sizes. Will buy again.

There are many plastic fasteners out there but the cheaper ones tend to be disposable junk and they break the next time you try to take them out or they just don't fit. On a whim I spent a few bucks more on a set of clasps and it was well worth it. They fit all standard sizes that I know. Probably some of the best available.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • slightly torn

Much better than the dealer offer.

My local Subaru dealer offered me $8 and $6 for fasteners I needed after some broke and others were missing altogether when replacing the low beam on my 2013 Outback. I laughed and told them I would try my luck elsewhere first. I found this article and decided to give it a try. They don't match exactly, but they work great, so don't worry. Also, one of my rays was darker than the other. Went back to Advance Auto Zone and they gave me a replacement. I broke two more fasteners when I replaced…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Blank

I wish I had bought them sooner

I have a 2005 STI, a 2012 WRX station wagon (and had a 2008 WRX station wagon). I often change the oil myself and do minor work on my machines myself. I think most people who work on their Subaru are familiar with these clips. I've always tried to reuse them, but they inevitably end up breaking - even the ones that hold things I don't normally take off. I noticed over the weekend that my 2012 6 of these brackets were missing from the plastic frame that directs air to the overhead intercooler. I
