It's not 60A. pops at 45A for 60 sec

Used in the top of the battery box to protect the trolling motor and as a switch. It works, but far from 60A as advertised. It operates at a current of just over 45A for 60 seconds. It's good that I had pliers on me and was able to move a wire to get back to the dock. So back to the drawing board. I'll leave it to the tripping but I need to find a REAL 60Amp switch that will only hold at 45A and won't trip. There were also no warm wires, clamps, or massive current queries. I have an ammeter…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Slightly dented
