I was driving down the freeway and plugged my original Apple Lighting USB cable into the charger and after 30 seconds I got a message: This accessory may not be supported. I had to go to a gas station, buy a cheap charger and it worked perfectly. I will definitely come again.

Mounts flush with the vehicle's charge port. I had one more before it caught fire for you to see. The problem was the brightness of the light on it. It was annoying at night. It only has a tiny light to indicate it's plugged in and ready to use. Excellent purchase! Love how low it sits in port. Also bought an Anker 1ft charging cable which works great with the charger.

I really wanted one, but it didn't fit in my car socket. I sent it back not knowing how it works. Update *** received an email from Anker. They have excellent customer service. They sent me a new charger (different model) and it works great. I don't know why this one didn't fit in my car outlet, I always thought it was a one size fits all. However, the issues aside, Anker has fantastic customer service and I would buy from them again.

Bought for my son and we tried it on his 2006 Honda Element (maybe earlier, I forgot) and doesn't work but on my 2014 Cruze it did works without problems. Turns out the aux port on the Honda has a deep center pin, and the center pin on this USB charger isn't long enough for a pin. Instead of changing it, I took out the center pin (it unscrews easily) and added a drop of solder, making the contact longer. This worked and is now communicating with Honda's auxiliary port.

For some reason my friend's phone has a vendetta against ALL my chargers. Her phone broke about half a dozen times just by plugging it in once, both around the house and in my car. I don't know what the problem is and why he likes to ruin my stuff? I found this to be the only charger that would work well with her phone. Edit: Anker customer service contacted me and sent a newer model that supports fast charging. Really amazing product and support. Thanks very much! My iPhone 8 does not fast charge with the same Anker Powerline 2 cable. I used to have a previous model of this Anker charger and needed a different one.
